MUNICIPAL MEASUREMENT PROGRAM

The Municipal Measurement Program (MMP) is a free Program Assessment and Planning Tool that delivers insights and actionable recommendations to municipal waste management agencies.

TDEC

The Materials Management group is divided into three sections to provide assistance to the 66 solid waste planning regions and Tennessee's 95 counties. Specialized grants for recycling equipment, used oil, waste tire clean-ups are just a few of the types of grants offered. Funding comes from the Solid Waste Management Fund which is generated by the tipping fee surcharge and waste tire pre-disposal collection fee.

Southeast Recycling Development Council

The Southeast Recycling Development Council works to unite industry, government, and non-government organizations 
to promote sustainable recycling in the Southeast. 
Programs, including recycling consultation and evaluation services and grants for recycling infrastructure are available.

Tennessee Environmental Council

Tennessee Environmental Council engages individuals and communities to improve our environment and public health. Our Recycle Tennessee program is designed to help individuals understand what is and is not accepted for recycling in four target areas: Knoxville, Lebanon, Nashville, and Oak Hill.
